Unplugged: Diesel Pre-Internet Experience

When did sharing become annoying, and liking just a pointless online gesture?

Go unplugged. Diesel tells you to survive without internet to promote its 1993 YUK shoes. By going back to the heritage, it’s also going back to 1993. The Pre-Internet Experience Campaign include a pledge of not using social media for 3 days in hope of winning a pair of shoes. Diesel also launched a promotion video that features a hipster GPS artist who technically draws on the street.

As consumers start to feel tired of the demanding internet, culturally-sensitive brand should provide a technology time-out for them. For more stories about Unplugged trend, please visit here.
