3D Printing Photobooth in Japan

3D printing is destined to be the future, but how can it be brought to mainstream? Japan-based creative company Party created a pop-up store named Omote 3D Shashin Kan in Harajuku area of Tokyo. Using 3D scanning and 3D printing technology, you can create a mini-figure of yourself in this new type of photobooth. A small size of figure cost approximately USD255.

It is interesting to see how creatives continue to spread the use of 3D printing and let consumers get used to the idea of having something printed in 3D. See more about 3D printing in the previous posts (Send to Print/ Print to Send, Make it Physible)
